2nd Round of Lease Signings Continue
Paloma has released the schedule for the second round of natural gas lease signings for two more subdivisions in the Little Green Ark area. They are:
Lake Arlington Highlands Addition – All property owners on Jewell Dr., Hilldale Blvd., Mintwood Pl., and Bent Tree Ln.; property owners in the 5100 block of Lester Dr.; and property owners in the 5000 and 5100 blocks of Bonneville Dr.
Smokerise Addition – All property owners on Smokerise Dr., Smokerise Ct., Chimney Ct., Firewood Dr., Fireside Dr., Smouldering Wood Dr., Smouldering Wood Ct., Ember Dr., Ember Ct., and Kindling Ct.; property owners from 2311 thru 2325 Charred Wood Dr.; and property owners from 2400 thru 2609 Highgate Dr.
Lease signings for those property owners will be as follows:
Location - Lake Arlington Baptist Church
2912 Little Road (lower level entrance, facing Little)
When - Mon – 4/7/08
- Mon – 4/14/08
Time – 5:30 – 8:00PM, both dates
Things to bring to/know about the signing meetings:

All names on the property title must sign the gas lease. Married couples must both sign.

All lease signing property owners must bring a photo ID to the meeting. Can be a driver’s license, passport, or government issued ID card.

Out of town property owners can be handled by courier service, if need be.
If names have changed since the property was purchased in a Warranty Deed, then you need to also bring the following:

If divorced – A divorce decree

If a spouse has died – A probated will, Affidavit of Heirship, Trust agreement documents.

If a name has changed – Proper paperwork filed to prove so.

If someone else can sign for an individual or individuals – Power of Attorney paperwork.

If the property is in the name of a Trust – Copy of the Trust.

I have not received any snail mail, or email from anyone regarding lease signings, or the entire Barnett Shale issue in general. I just yesterday was made aware of this Web site and LGA. I live in the Whisperton Additon on Preston Bend Dr.. I see from the information that has been posted, that there were signing meetings for my addition on 3/24 & 3/31. Sinced I missed both of these meetings, when can I sign a lease? Can I go to any of the future meetings at this point? If not, will there be “Make Up” meetings scheduled? Thank you for your efforts.
