Why not extend your territory to Woodside Dr. We currently have no association and would only be able to help in negotiations by almost doubling the territory.
Bryan – We’re certainly not opposed to adding territory to our group, but quite frankly, we’re only 30% signed up (i.e., banded together) in our existing area, and are hard pressed to get that level to the 80% goal. We’ve had inquiries from other folks east of Little, so the need seems to be there. Come to our meeting Tue (or Thu), express your need for inclusion, and let’s see what shakes out.
Stacy – We will be placing signs at stragetic intersections within our area. Those signs, word-of-mouth, and inclusion on the Star-Telegram’s Barnett Shale blog site will help get the news spread.

I am the Citizens On Patrol coordinator and webmaster of Pineridge Estates, the neighborhood south of Mayfield, including Grissom Dr, Pineridge Dr. , Grantmont Dr. and Ceran Dr. We would be very interested in joining your group and I hope we will have someone from our neighborhood at your meeting/s. I might be out of town on those days and may not be able to show up. I have posted the information and your website on our website and look forward to working collaboratively on this and more in the future.
Doug – Plan on talking to Leonard Piel about it after the meeting Tue (or Thu). If you can’t be there, suggest you designate someone from your neighborhood. We’re happy to include other folks, but our concerted effort right now is to get most of the neighbors in our existing area signed onto the unified list.
I agree with Stacy and will be more than happy to volunteer my time to get the word out. Strategically placed signs and the Barnett Shale blog are great but honestly I didn’t find out about this until I went to the corner store on Hilldale and Arkansas last night. I see the first post of this blog was Feb 22 so that is 18 days this has been going on and I am just now finding out. I told my cousin who also lives in this area about it and he hadn’t heard about it either. So I know there has to be more owners out there that don’t know about it. Let’s get out there!
I agree with Adam, there are many families who are not aware of these issues and may not have computer access. I, too, am able to provide information to the residences which are not on the list of United Neighbors. Tell me how I can help!
Just found out about the MANA76016 group, and realized their boundaries do not include our subdivision. Our area is called Pineridge Estates and covers from Mayfield south to possibly Inglewood. From your map that would include our household. As Doug Scott said there is no info out in our neighborhood at all. I will let our neighborhood watch group know. What else can we do?

When should we meet at Lake Arlington Baptist Church regarding the Barnet Shale gas & oil lease? We are in the Holly Hollows district. We own our home at 2605 Nelwin Place and are already signed up. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I, Ralph C. Mitchell & Sheryl Mitchell fall into the boundaries of “Littlle Green Ark” Please advise us as to when we should go to Lake Arlington Baptist Church. We have knowledge that friends in the Smoke rise addition that some have already signed and that is two blocks north of of us. We are at 2605 Nelwin Place and we have signed up for our addition.
